About Us
Himalayan Hive began in the most unexpected way—out of stings, wasted fruits, and an idea that refused to stay quiet.
Lokesh grew up in Uttarakhand, surrounded by orchards and buzzing hives. Watching perfectly good fruits rot and bees swarm around the farms felt like a loss too big to ignore. One day, after a sting that was hard to forget, he decided it was time to put the bees and the produce to better use. That moment planted the seed for Himalayan Hive.
With over 12 years in food and hospitality, including his time at ITC and now running his own hotel chain, Lokesh brought his deep knowledge of what it takes to serve quality experiences.
Shubhangi came in from a different path. Her background is in retail and fashion—she spent 7 years with brands like Sephora and FabIndia. What she carried into Himalayan Hive was an eye for detail, a love for building brands that people trust, and the belief that honest products can change the way we consume.
Together, as partners in life and in work, we built Himalayan Hive around a simple promise: raw, pure, and honest products straight from the mountains.
What We Stand For
-
Sustainability – using what nature gives without harming it.
-
Purity – no added colors, no preservatives, no shortcuts.
-
Local Empowerment – working with farmers and beekeepers in Uttarakhand to support their craft and livelihoods.
-
Wellness – food that heals, nurtures, and connects back to traditions.
Every jar of honey, every batch of jam, and every blend of tea is handmade, directly sourced, and tied to the Himalayan way of life.
Our Vision
In the years ahead, we see Himalayan Hive growing beyond a brand into a community—a bridge between the villages of Uttarakhand and homes across India. A place where sustainability meets taste, and where every purchase supports local farmers and keeps the mountains alive with their natural abundance.
We’re not just building a business. We’re keeping alive the purity of the Himalayas, one bottle at a time.
